Mokarram U Ahmed
Mr. Ahmed graduated in Electrical Engineering in the year 1964 from
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka.
He worked with the then EPWAPDA (East Pakistan Water and Power
Development Authority) for about a year immediately after graduation.
He then joined M/s. Greaves Crompton Parkinson Ltd., a subsidiary of
Hawker Siddeley Group of UK. After receiving post-graduate training in
UK with Hawker Siddeley Group of companies in the year 1973,
Mokarram became a Founder Director and then, in 1983,
the Managing Director of their Bangladesh operation. Mr. Ahmed received
Management Training from Japan and attended a number of Seminars on
TQM and QC at home and abroad. Mr. Ahmed is a fellow of the
Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, and Member of
Bangladesh Society for TQM (BSTQM) and Bangladesh AOTS Alumni Society (BAAS).
ZIAUDDIN TARIQ ALI
A freedom fighter and entrepreneur and an international consultant
specializing in pharmaceutical manufacturing, currently serving as the
president of Sammilita Samajik Andolan – he is always thinking outside
the box! He is also one of Board of Trustees of Liberation War Museum (Muktijuddho Jadughôr),
the museum that carries living history of our liberation war across generations.
Warm but assertive. Acclaimed actress and media personality.
She did her Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from
Dhaka University getting first class first. Tropa joined the department as a
teacher and left the job after a year to pursue her interest in advertising.
Now she teaches part time there. A one-stop repository of best practices in Social Communication.
An ardent Theatre Activist. The motivational leader of the Social
Communication team. A team player. She can sing, and sting, if needed.
Syed Apon Ahsan
He is an eclectic mix- assertive, yet empathetic. Has avid interest in film, theatre, traveling & gadgets. Very much process-oriented but flexible. Always explores & wants to innovate to fulfill the clients’ need. Prefers to cut through the clutter to stand out with clarity.
With almost 25+ years’ experience in advertising & communication, now one of the integral parts of EXPRESSIONS 40+ strong personnel, involved in developing brand & social campaign strategy, media planning & buying, copywriting, designing, printing, AV producing and event management; both for local and multinational organizations. Deals with non-traditional media, consumer engagements & digital media apart from traditional media.
Has quite substantial numbers of TVC directions to his credit.
A good learner & participated in many workshops, seminars & training in Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand & Japan to acquire knowledge.
A stage performer, hardly sees any point in leaving a gap between decision & execution!
